*OFFICIAL* Metroid Glitches Topic

This is the official Metroid Glitches Topic!

Myself and the Emperor will be adding to the list of glitches as we go, so be patient.

Here is the current list of glitches:

Oubliette:
1. Floor glitch:  Use alt form to get under ramp and then switch out just in time in order to stay under there pernamently- and be invincible!

All Levels:
1. you need to be weavel, spire, or samus. First you need to jump up really high,(moon jump required), then just as you get close to them switch to your alt form toland RIGHT ON THEM. Its hard but it works.

Combat Hall:
1. MPH Glitch: The Wall in Combat Hall!(only works in 1 on 1 battles)
First be ANY hunter you want, but Weavel works best here, and go to the hallway corners. Once there, switch to your MISSLE or BATTLEHAMMER and start walking back-right or back-left. then fire the weapon and you should be in the wall, BUT DONT FORGET TO JUMP TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT TO SAFETY! Itll take some practice so good luck.

2. To do this glitch you NEED TO BE WEAVEL! Go through the first alt. tunnel, and charge a missle or use his battlehammer. Once their, fire the weapon, and you should be in the tunnel,(just like the wall, but jumping isnt nessary), then go into his alt form and go right then left to be in the pillar. Have fun trying!


SIC Transit:
MPH Glitch: Secret Floor of Sic Transit! to do this glitch you can be whatever hunter you want to be,(I'd pick Trace), and go on the side of the stage where Noxus and Trace fight. Go up the ramp and turn around. This is the hard part, you need to move both foward and right at the same time! If it works your character will "float" next to the wall. Once you reach the corner jump up on the ledge of the wall. NOTE: This is also the way to the SHADOW WORLD of that stage but its been awhile and i forgot how to do it, so sorry!

Hm, I don't play anymore, but tell me anyway!

By the way, you should add a more detailed description of how to use the glitch, and the fact that it's impossible with Spire.

But add the Combat Hall Wall Glitch! It, along with the floor glitch, is the most commonly used glitch, so you should add that next.

Of course. I could also contribute a glitch or two, but... you need an Action Replay to use them.

SHADOW WORLD: A "World", where in Metroid Prime Hunters, no one can see your character but they can see its shadow.

Well there's a different way to get into the shadow world as Weavel in that level.

Just to be clear, you can get in the tunnels with everybody. In fact, that's a glitch in its own rights, and should be listed in the first post as such. It works in a LOT of places.

OK NOW EVERYONE LISTEN UP!!!!! Spire from Metroid Prime Hunters is now allowed to be used in the Empire. However, you must train alot if you want to be a master of this character. (The only reason I'll let people play as Spire is because there are volcanos in the 7 seas, so enjoy the new power!)

Ok to answer both questions. I thought spire sucked, parden my french, and the list is Kanden, SPIRE, Trace(for stealth squad only), Noxus, Sylux, and of corse Weavel.

It's an action replay glitch though. Which brings me to my next point.

@ Storms: do you think we should have a seperate thread for AR glitches? I could monitor it i supposed. And also, make this a sticky.

I figured it out. But it's brutal as hell.

Do you know how to get on the walls that extend off the sides of the level?

Okay, go up where the cloak is.
GO to either side (i prefer the right side) and go on the ledge

lockjaw

fly to the side and land on the ledge
top's better if you can get to it

go to the end of the wall then fly around the wall and land on the other side (this is the second hardest part)


fly back to the level (this is very hard because you can't see how high the wall goes)


if you do it right, you'll seem to be hovering. it will be hard for you to find the boundaries.



IT WILL BE EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND THE SPRINGY-THINGIES. IF YOU GO FOR THE IMPERIALIST, YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME KNOWING WHEN TO JUMP.

POWER BEAM THE GROUND TO FIND WHERE TO GO AND WHEN TO JUMP.

In Metroid Prime 3 on the Pirate Homeworld; after you go through the white thing, in the left morph-ball tube that leads to a missle expansion, you might get stuck in the tube & be unable to see yourself due to bad camera angling.

Ok heres one, its not a glitch but its good to know. When using Sylux, and the S.C., stay behind a wall and fire at your opponets. They think your in the wall, then they just die three seconds later if you keep it on them.

it technically IS a glitch. but you have to keep walking towards the  wall and it's hard to keep it on your opponent.
